Meet Dr. Gaby Buller
For more than fifteen years, I cared for patients in one of Louisiana’s busiest academic emergency departments. I loved medicine, but as I entered my forties, I began experiencing changes I didn’t fully understand. I was more tired, my sleep had changed, my weight was becoming harder to manage, and I simply didn’t feel like myself.
Like many women, I assumed it was just part of getting older.
As both a physician and a patient, I wanted better answers. And as I talked with my sisters, friends, and patients, I realized how many women were asking the same questions—and struggling to find care that looked at the whole picture.
That realization changed the course of my career. I pursued advanced training in menopause care and hormone therapy, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine to better understand the changes women experience during midlife and how hormones, metabolism, and lifestyle intersect.
Ultimately, that journey led me to found The Midlife Renewal, a practice dedicated to helping women navigate perimenopause, menopause, weight and metabolic changes, and healthy aging with thoughtful, evidence-based care.
Outside of medicine, I’m married and a mother of three, so I understand that taking care of your health has to fit into a full, real life.
My goal is to help you feel better now while protecting your health for the years ahead.
